Comanche Trail Golf Course

“The only rolling hills golf course in West Texas,” this Big Spring course comes in at just over 6,500 yards and a par 72. The hills make for fun elevation changes and can add some nice distance to your drives, provided you can keep your ball on the tight fairways. The standout hole is the 537-yard No. 7, a long par 5 with a great view of the back nine.

Comanche Trail Park

In addition to an amphitheater, golf course, trails, tennis courts, and playgrounds, the spring that gave Big Spring its name is located inside Comanche Trail Park. Picnicking or fishing at Comanche Trail Lake is a great way to spend an afternoon. In the winter, the park plays home to the popular Festival of Lights holiday display.
